NFL scouting combine 2025 live updates: Highlights, results from Ohio State prospects.

The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine is underway at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, running from February 27 to March 2. This annual event is a pivotal opportunity for college football prospects to showcase their talents to NFL coaches, general managers, and scouts. This year, Ohio State University stands out prominently, leading all schools with 15 invited players, underscoring the program’s consistent excellence and its significant contribution to the upcoming NFL Draft.

Ohio State’s Impressive Contingent

The Buckeyes’ 15 invitees span both offensive and defensive positions, reflecting the team’s balanced prowess. Notable offensive players include quarterback Will Howard, running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, and offensive linemen Donovan Jackson, Seth McLaughlin, and Josh Simmons. On the defensive side, the lineup features linemen Ty Hamilton and Tyleik Williams, edge rushers Jack Sawyer and JT Tuimoloau, linebacker Cody Simon, cornerbacks Denzel Burke and Jordan Hancock, and safety Lathan Ransom.

Key Prospects to Watch

Jack Sawyer (Defensive End): Emerging as a defensive powerhouse during Ohio State’s playoff run, Sawyer recorded 4.5 sacks and seven pass breakups over four games. His performance has positioned him as a potential first-round pick.

Tyleik Williams (Defensive Tackle): Despite battling injuries, Williams showcased resilience, amassing eight tackles for loss and 2.5 sacks in his final season. His formidable presence in the interior line makes him a strong candidate for early selection.

Emeka Egbuka (Wide Receiver): With 1,011 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns in his senior year, Egbuka’s consistent performance and playmaking abilities have garnered attention, making him a likely first-round selection.

TreVeyon Henderson (Running Back): A versatile back, Henderson accumulated 1,016 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns, averaging 7.1 yards per carry. His dual-threat capability as a runner and receiver enhances his draft appeal.

Donovan Jackson (Guard): A first-team Sporting News All-American, Jackson demonstrated versatility by transitioning from guard to tackle due to team needs. His adaptability and strength position him as a valuable Day 2 prospect.

Combine Schedule and Coverage

The combine’s on-field workouts are scheduled as follows:

Thursday, Feb. 27: Defensive linemen and linebackers

Friday, Feb. 28: Defensive backs and tight ends

Saturday, March 1: Quarterbacks, wide receivers, and running backs

Sunday, March 2: Offensive linemen

Fans can watch the live coverage on the NFL Network and stream it via the NFL app, NFL.com, or fuboTV.

Historical Context and Expectations

Ohio State’s impressive representation at the combine not only highlights the program’s strength but also sets the stage for a potentially record-tying draft. The current record for most players selected from a single school in one draft is 15, set by Georgia in 2022. With all 15 combine invitees from Ohio State poised as strong draft candidates, the Buckeyes have a legitimate chance to match this record.

As the combine progresses, the performances of these Ohio State prospects will be closely monitored, with the potential to significantly impact their draft stock and future NFL careers.
