One of Ohio State’s top safety targets in the 2026 class has set an official visit to Ohio State.

Ohio State University’s football program continues to assert its dominance on the recruiting trail, securing a scheduled official visit from five-star safety Bralan Womack and extending an offer to promising running back CJ Givers for the 2026 class.

Bralan Womack’s Upcoming Visit

Bralan Womack, a standout safety from Hartfield Academy in Flowood, Mississippi, has announced his final four schools: Ohio State, LSU, Texas, and Washington. He has scheduled official visits to each, with his trip to Columbus set for June 30, 2025.

Standing at 6-foot-2 and weighing 200 pounds, Womack is renowned for his exceptional field vision, agility, and tackling prowess. His performance has garnered national attention, making him a top priority for several elite programs.

Ohio State’s coaching staff, led by head coach Ryan Day, has been proactive in their pursuit of Womack. Day personally visited Womack in late January, underscoring the program’s keen interest in securing his commitment.

Womack’s visit to Ohio State will provide him with an in-depth look at the program’s facilities, culture, and defensive schemes. Given the Buckeyes’ storied history of developing NFL-caliber defensive backs, the visit could play a pivotal role in Womack’s decision-making process.

CJ Givers Receives Ohio State Offer

In another significant recruiting development, Ohio State has extended an offer to CJ Givers, a dynamic running back from Fellowship Christian School in Roswell, Georgia. Running backs coach Carlos Locklyn has been instrumental in this recruitment, having visited Givers in January and maintained consistent communication since.

Givers announced the offer on social media, expressing his gratitude and excitement. Standing at 5-foot-11 and weighing 190 pounds, Givers is known for his explosive speed, vision, and versatility on the field.

The Buckeyes’ interest in Givers reflects their commitment to bolstering their offensive arsenal with versatile playmakers. Givers’ skill set aligns well with Ohio State’s dynamic offensive schemes, which often utilize running backs in both rushing and receiving roles.

Strategic Recruiting Efforts

Ohio State’s aggressive approach in targeting top-tier talent like Womack and Givers underscores the program’s dedication to maintaining its competitive edge on the national stage. By securing visits and extending offers to these elite prospects, the Buckeyes aim to build upon their storied legacy and ensure sustained success in the coming seasons.

The recruitment of Womack and Givers also highlights Ohio State’s strategic focus on key regions. By targeting standout players from Mississippi and Georgia, the Buckeyes are expanding their recruiting footprint into talent-rich areas, enhancing their national presence.

Looking Ahead

As the recruitment process unfolds, all eyes will be on Womack’s official visit to Columbus in June and Givers’ potential visit later this spring. Their decisions will undoubtedly have a significant impact on Ohio State’s 2026 recruiting class and the program’s future trajectory.

The Buckeyes’ coaching staff will continue to invest time and resources into building relationships with these prospects, showcasing the program’s strengths, and articulating a clear vision for their development and success at Ohio State.

In the competitive landscape of college football recruiting, Ohio State’s proactive and strategic efforts position them well to secure commitments from top talents like Womack and Givers, ensuring the program’s continued excellence in the years to come.
