The show quickly became a Netflix hit, and season two was no exception. Ginny & Georgia made waves in 2021 when it made fun of Gilmore Girls in its first teaser trailer and gained even more attention as a controversial favourite with some notorious scenes (Oppression Olympics and unfortunate Taylor Swift joke, we’re looking at you). For two weeks in a row, Ginny & Georgia’s second season topped Netflix’s U.S. Top 10 series list. The show received praise for its portrayal of mental health issues and the inclusion of more well-liked characters, such as Ginny’s father Zion and classmate Bracia. Since then, fans have been anxious to find out if season three of Ginny & Georgia would be renewed.
When will season three of Ginny & Georgia be available on Netflix?
Several cast members of Ginny & Georgia stated in mid-September 2024 that the third season of the show was fully over. The excitement of fans worldwide was heightened by the commemorative Instagram posts that Felix Mallard, Brianne Howey, Mason Temple, and Sara Waisglass all made regarding the conclusion of the new season. On September 18, Mallard posted a carousel of season 1 cast photographs along with the caption, “Season 3 of Ginny and Georgia just wrapped filming.” It’s sweet with a hint of bitterness. Anxiety shrouded in pride. I’m so thankful to have worked so hard for so long with such kind people 🖤. I am even more eager for everyone to observe our recent activities.
Howey shared a picture of herself and her infant daughter on stage that same day, writing, “And that’s a wrap GG! It hit a little differently this season 🎬🖤. “If you couldn’t tell, I love my coworkers,” Waisglass wrote in her own photo dump, expressing similar sincere feelings. Officially, season three is over! Weeee! For now, I’ll just say thank you for making this show what it is. I can’t even begin to express how pleased I am of the cast and staff this year without violating some kind of NDA. I truly can’t believe I get to work with all of you every year; you are so incredibly intelligent and hilarious. I adore YA.
