Camden Jensen, a standout tight end from Heritage High School in Littleton, Colorado, has recently narrowed his college choices to seven programs: Florida, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Texas A&M, UCLA, and Washington.
Standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 230 pounds, Jensen is ranked as the top player in Colorado and the nation’s No. 13 tight end in the 2026 class by 247Sports.
Nebraska has made a significant impression on Jensen. He attended the Huskers’ spring game in April 2024, where he had the opportunity to reconnect with former teammate Rex Guthrie, now a defensive back for Nebraska. Jensen described the visit as “amazing” and highlighted the unique attention he received from head coach Matt Rhule and offensive coordinator Marcus Satterfield. “This visit was unique because Coach Rhule and Coach Satt basically spent the entire visit with us,” Jensen noted. “Even though they had the official visits on campus, they really made me a priority.”
The atmosphere during the spring game also left a lasting impression on Jensen. He was struck by the fan support, noting, “The atmosphere was like nothing I’ve ever seen. It was almost packed for just a spring game, and it was loud.” He also observed the performance of quarterback Dylan Raiola and tight end Thomas Fidone, stating, “Dylan stood out the most to me but also the TE number 24.”
Jensen’s relationship with current Nebraska commit Tanner Terch, his teammate at Heritage High School, could also influence his decision. Terch has been actively encouraging Jensen to consider Nebraska. Jensen acknowledged this, saying, “My teammate Tanner mentions it every once and a while. He’s all in on the Cornhuskers.” Jensen has expressed a desire to commit before his senior season, with Nebraska being “very high” on his list.
In addition to Nebraska, other programs have made a strong impression on Jensen. He mentioned that “Florida, Nebraska, and Mizzou have been the schools that have stood out the most to me so far.” Jensen plans to make a visit to Lincoln, although it may not be possible during the fall season.
Jensen’s recruitment is being closely watched, given his impressive physical attributes and on-field performance. His decision will be a significant addition to whichever program he chooses, and Nebraska is making a concerted effort to secure his commitment.
