Chris “Pooh” Paul Jr., a standout linebacker for the Ole Miss Rebels, has officially declared for the 2025 NFL Draft and received an invitation to the prestigious NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.
This opportunity places him among the nation’s elite prospects, offering a platform to showcase his talents to NFL scouts and executives.
Collegiate Journey
Paul began his collegiate career at the University of Arkansas, where he played from 2021 to 2023. During his tenure with the Razorbacks, he appeared in 28 games, amassing 137 tackles (68 solo), 15 tackles for loss, and six sacks. His impressive performance earned him Second-Team Freshman All-American honors in 2022 and a spot on the 2023 Butkus Award watch list.
Seeking new challenges and opportunities, Paul transferred to Ole Miss for the 2024 season. In his lone season with the Rebels, he led the team with 88 total tackles, including 11 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. He also recorded four pass breakups and his first career interception during the Egg Bowl against Mississippi State.

In December 2024, Paul announced his decision to declare for the 2025 NFL Draft, opting to forego his remaining collegiate eligibility and the team’s appearance in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl.
