Florida State has landed a major commitment from one of the most highly touted defensive backs in the 2026 class. Chauncey Kennon, a 6’2”, 185-pound cornerback with elite speed, fluid hips, and shutdown potential, announced his commitment to the Seminoles on Sunday, sending shockwaves through the college football recruiting world.
Kennon, a consensus top-10 corner in the nation, chose the Seminoles over a long list of powerhouse programs, including Georgia, Alabama, Ohio State, and USC. His decision comes after an impressive junior season in which he recorded 6 interceptions, 14 pass breakups, and locked down opposing WR1s week after week.
